Free Online Image Editor

Crop, adjust, add text and export — no upload

To edit an image online, open a photo above and pick a tool: crop with social-media presets, rotate, adjust brightness and colour, apply filters, add text, shapes, stickers or a watermark, then export as JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF. Everything runs in your browser — the photo is never uploaded.

How to make a image editor

  1. Open a photo

Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF or HEIC image, or start with a blank canvas.

  2. Edit with the tool rail

Crop, rotate, adjust, filter, add text and shapes, draw, blur private details or add a watermark. Undo any step.

  3. Export

Pick a format and quality, optionally a maximum file size or rounded corners, and download.

Everything in one editor

Fylo's editor combines the tools people reach for most: crop with presets for Instagram, YouTube thumbnails, WhatsApp profile pictures and passport photos; rotate and flip; seven adjustment sliders (brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, warmth, sharpen and blur); fourteen one-tap filters; text with outlines and backgrounds; rectangles, circles, lines and arrows; freehand drawing; emoji stickers; image overlays for logos; tiled or corner watermarks; blur and pixelate for faces and number plates; and borders.

Every element you add stays editable as its own layer until you export. The Layers panel lets you select, hide, reorder and delete them, and undo/redo covers every step.

Built for privacy and speed

The editor runs on Fabric.js, a mature open-source canvas library, with filters accelerated by your graphics card through WebGL. Your photo is read from your device and never sent to a server, which is why there's no upload wait and no file-size limit beyond your device's memory. Exports reuse Fylo's image converter, so you can save AVIF or hit an exact size like 50 KB straight from the editor.

Exporting at the right size

Export lets you scale the finished image from 10% to 100% and set a maximum file size in KB. Fylo then searches for the highest quality that fits, which is handy for upload forms that reject photos over 50, 100 or 200 KB. Rounded corners can be added at the same time.

Can I edit HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Yes. HEIC photos are decoded in your browser and can be edited and exported as JPG or any other format.

Is there a watermark on exported images?

No. Fylo never adds watermarks — only ones you add yourself.

Can I undo changes?

Yes, with the Undo and Redo buttons or Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Tools sit in a bottom bar on phones, and objects can be moved and resized with your finger.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Image Editor runs entirely in your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, it even keeps working if your connection drops.
