Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what information Fylo ("we"), a product of Vaqnova, handles when you use this website. The short version: your files never leave your device, and we don't ask for an account or any personal details.

Your files

All conversions happen locally in your browser. The files you add are read by code running on your own device and are never uploaded to Fylo, Vaqnova or anyone else. When you close or reload the page, they are gone from the page's memory. We cannot see, store or recover your files.

Data stored in your browser

  • Tool settings (for example your preferred quality) are saved in your browser's local storage so they're remembered next time. They never leave your device.
  • Your cookie choice (accept or reject) is stored the same way so we don't ask again.

Advertising

Fylo is free because it shows ads from our advertising partner, Monetag. Ads are only loaded if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you accept, Monetag and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type and device information to show and measure ads. Their use of data is governed by Monetag's own privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, pages requested and time) for security and reliability. These logs never contain your files.

Children

Fylo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Because we don't collect your files or account data, most requests will concern advertising data — contact us and we'll help.

Changes and contact

We'll update this page if our practices change. For privacy questions, see our contact page.
