Best for screenshots, diagrams and designs

PNG is the format of choice for screenshots, charts, UI mockups and documents saved losslessly. Turning them into a PDF lets you send one ordered document for a bug report, design review, course assignment or invoice bundle — and the recipient can open it on any device without an image viewer.

Lossless from PNG to PDF

PDF supports lossless Flate compression — the same DEFLATE algorithm PNG uses — so Fylo carries every pixel across without artefacts. That keeps small text crisp, which matters for screenshots and forms.

The trade-off is size: large photographic PNGs stay large inside the PDF. If size matters more than pixel-perfect accuracy, convert to JPG first or run the result through Compress PDF.

What happens to PNG transparency in a PDF?

PDF pages have a white background, so transparent areas show as white when viewed or printed. The image keeps its alpha channel inside the PDF.

Can I mix PNG and JPG files in one PDF?

Yes. Fylo accepts both — plus WebP, GIF, HEIC and other images, which are converted on the fly.

Is there a page limit?

No fixed limit. Very large batches depend on your device's memory; a hundred or more screenshots are typically fine on a laptop.

How do I make the PDF smaller?

Run it through Compress PDF using the Strong setting, which re-encodes pages as JPG.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. PNG to PDF runs entirely in your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, it even keeps working if your connection drops.
