Merge Videos Online

Join clips in any order into one video

To merge videos, open the first clip above, click Add clips to add the rest, arrange them on the timeline and trim each one if needed. Choose an aspect ratio so different clips match, then export as one MP4, WebM or GIF. Clips are joined on your device — nothing is uploaded.

How to merge Video

  1. Add your clips

Open one video, then use Add clips to add more.

  2. Arrange and trim

Select a clip to trim it; move clips earlier or later on the timeline.

  3. Export

Pick an aspect ratio and resolution, then export the merged video.

Joining clips of different sizes

Phone videos can be vertical, horizontal, 4K or 720p. Fylo scales every clip to one output frame: Fit keeps the whole picture with black bars where shapes differ, while Fill crops the edges so the frame is always full. Pick 9:16 if most clips are vertical phone videos, or 16:9 for landscape footage.

Sound across clips

Each clip keeps its own audio, and clips without sound get silence, so audio and picture stay in sync. To give the whole video one soundtrack, mute the original sound and add background music under Audio — it loops if it's shorter than the video.

Order, trim, export

Plan the story first: an opening shot, the main moments and a closing clip. Trim each clip tightly so nothing drags — shorter clips joined together feel faster and more polished. Then add a caption over the first seconds to say what the video is, and export at 720p for sharing or 1080p for YouTube. Rendering time grows with the total length, so trimming before merging also saves time.

Can I merge MOV and MP4 together?

Yes — any mix of supported formats can be joined.

Is there a limit on the number of clips?

No fixed limit; very long projects take longer to render.

Can I add transitions?

Not yet; clips are joined with straight cuts.

Can I merge audio files?

Not in this tool; the audio converter tools handle audio files.

Can I merge vertical and horizontal videos?

Yes. Choose Fit to keep each whole with black bars, or Fill to crop every clip to the same frame.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Merge Video runs entirely in your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, it even keeps working if your connection drops.
