Lossless page removal

Deleting pages doesn't re-render or re-compress anything: the remaining pages are copied into a new PDF exactly as they were, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. The file usually gets smaller, roughly in proportion to the pages removed.

Delete, then tidy up

While the Pages panel is open you can also reorder, rotate sideways scans, duplicate a page or insert a blank one. To pull out a few pages into a separate file instead, Split PDF's Extract pages mode is faster.

When to delete pages

Remove blank pages left by double-sided scanning, cover sheets and fax headers, duplicate pages from merged files, terms and conditions you don't need to send, or pages with personal details that aren't relevant to the recipient. Smaller PDFs are quicker to email and more likely to fit upload limits on job, visa and university portals.

Before deleting, use the thumbnails and the main view to check each page — page thumbnails are small, and similar-looking pages are easy to mix up.

Can I delete many pages at once?

Delete them one by one in the Pages panel. To keep only specific pages, Split PDF → Extract pages is quicker.

Can I undo a deletion?

Yes, click Undo.
