JSON to CSV Converter
Flatten JSON records into a spreadsheet-ready CSV
To convert JSON to CSV, drop your .json file above and click Convert to CSV. Fylo turns each object in the array into a row and every key into a column, so API exports and app data open neatly in Excel or Google Sheets. Nested objects are kept as JSON text in a cell. Nothing is uploaded.

Which JSON shapes work
The ideal input is an array of objects: [{"name": …, "age": …}, …]. Fylo also accepts an array of arrays (rows), a single object (one row) and objects that wrap the list, such as {"results": [ … ]} from many APIs — it uses the first array it finds. Keys from all records become columns, in order of first appearance.
Nested data
CSV is flat, so nested objects and arrays can't spread across columns automatically. Fylo writes them as compact JSON text inside the cell, so no information is lost and you can expand them later. Invalid JSON is reported with the parser's error message so you can fix it.

Frequently asked questions
What if my JSON is invalid?
Fylo shows the parsing error, such as an unexpected token, so you can correct the file.
How are nested objects handled?
They're kept as JSON text in a single cell.
Can I open the CSV in Excel?
Yes.
Is there a record limit?
Only your device's memory.
Can I open the CSV in Google Sheets?
Yes — use File → Import in Google Sheets and upload the CSV.
Is the JSON uploaded anywhere?
No, it's parsed and converted entirely in your browser.
Which column order is used?
Columns appear in the order keys are first seen across the records.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. JSON to CSV runs entirely in your browser — your files are processed on your own device and never sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, it even keeps working if your connection drops.
